Summer Shades

Now, since we’re in the dead of summer hair is lighter, skin is darker, the water gets warmer…and the polish gets BOLDER! Lying in the summer sun you have to have the perfectly polished mani and pedi to go with that chic swimsuit you worked so hard to rock this summer. Whether you prefer electric blue hues or sizzling reds Lauren B. Beauty has got the perfect summer shade for you! When picking all of the colors in my first collection I wanted shades that would look good on anyone despite their skin tone. As we all know, certain skin tones make colors pop more than others so here is my guide to picking out the perfect polish for summer! From Fair to Dark and every skin tone in between there is a Lauren B. Beauty color that will perfectly compliment your unique coloring. Fair: I suggest that you try some of the pastel colors that have more white undertones in them. Try City of Angels and Pacific Palisades. Medium: Try colors that are bold with deeper hues to reflect that yellow in your skin tone. I would recommend Aire of Bel Air and Sunset Blvd. Olive: You want to try colors that will enhance your naturally tan skin. Try “The O.C” and Malibu Beach. Dark: The brighter the better! This skin tone looks good with pretty much any summer shade.
